New Partner
Welcome to Cheryl Walsh who was referred by Partner Deb Hill. Cheryl is the owner of WalshCOMM and is the past CEO of Citizenship Counts. We are delighted to have Cheryl as part of the SVP Arizona family!
Survey
SVP Arizona is working with a team of six seasoned MBAs from 5 different countries from Thunderbird School of Global Management. As part of a class project, they will be assisting SVP Arizona with auditing internal communications activities. All Partners will be sent a survey later this week and we ask that you take just a few minutes to fill out the survey so that we can learn how to better serve you. AGF Education Funders Meeting
When: March 18, 2010
Where: Rodel Charitable Foundation
Event Description: The next AGF Education Funders Meeting will provide an update on Arizona’s Race to the Top application, which was submitted in late January to the US Department of Education. Dr. Carol Peck and Karla Phillips, the Governor’s Education Policy Advisor, will provide details of key elements of the State’s application and highlight potential next steps and the role that funders might take in supporting Arizona’s application. Whole Foods 5% Market Day
Spread the word! Whole Foods Paradise Valley has chosen the SVP Teens for their Community Giving day where they will donate 5% of their profit to the Teens.
Help support the Teens by shopping on Wednesday, March 3. Thank you for helping our teens raise funds for their grantmaking.
