Happy July 4th!

Fireworks-716x395At SVP, we are united in our journey to effect positive social change in our communities.  Jennie Arbogash from SVP Boulder County said it best, “Each of us believes in hope, possibility and a just society. Each of us wants our citizens to do well. Each of us feels it is our responsibility to participate in addressing the common good.” I could not agree more. I am proud to be a citizen of this country and also part of an organization where its members seek the common good.

As we celebrate this holiday that represents the birth of our country and what we stand for, I cannot help but think about its broader meaning and how we all can personally make a difference.

One of SVP’s greatest assets is that we are a team of leaders that regardless of our personal political persuasions, choose to come together with diverse ideas and experiences to do good, each sharing our own voice in a respectful way.  Our core values pave the way for engaging, learning and diving deeper to build strong trusting relationships with each other, nonprofits, and may others, as we work to build a stronger America, starting right here in Maricopa County.

To our Partners, thank you for taking responsibility.

To our Investees, thank you for work in making our community better for all.

To our Friends, we hope you’ll find inspiration in our work and commit to joining us this year. Please don’t hesitate to contact me about joining our Partnership!

God Bless America. Wishing you a safe happy holiday.
