Thank you for your interest in our new Brain Trust Program. Our goal is to be able to serve more nonprofits in Arizona with capacity-building projects. Please review the eligibility requirements and apply using the form below.

Your organization is eligible for brain trust if it:

• is a registered 501(c)(3) in the state of Arizona

• has been in operation for at least one year

• Have an annual budget between $25,000 – $1,000,000 (this program is designed for the small and emerging nonprofit space)

• Serves children and youth (birth to 22) in Maricopa County

What you can expect from us:

SVP Partners are fully dedicated to providing their time and talents in the form of consulting hours that nonprofits are not always afforded in their funding and budgets. We are committed to your organization’s growth and success. Our Partners are willing to roll up their sleeves and get into the weeds on areas and projects that will help your organization scale and operate more efficiently.

You can expect that Partners will dedicate 10-20 hours total for the group per month during the project time.

What is required of you:

We don’t want to just hear about the great impact you are having – we want to know what is happening behind the scenes and how we can support. It takes a bit of vulnerability, but we are here to take the journey with you. We ask that you respect the time of our Partners by being present, open to collaborative work, and willing to explore areas of growth. We also require that you complete a brief pre and post project survey.

Cost Structure:

• Organizations under $500,000 FY budget: $250 per project
• Organizations over $500,00: $500 per project

Why do we charge? Ensuring investment from both parties increases the chances for success and engagement. It also allows for SVPAZ to cover a portion of the costs associated with our internal staff requirements in running the program.
