Engaged philanthropy is most quickly adopted when you are able to support something that connects to your personal experiences. SVP Partner Hayden Ess is a finance professional and when it came time to expand his personal philanthropy, he knew that he wanted to help remove the barriers for young professionals to obtain their CFP (Certified Financial Planner).
Last month he launched Fiduciary Gives with the mission of “providing financial support to driven individuals who embody ethical integrity, demonstrate genuine need, and express their dedication through powerful personal essays centered on ethics in financial advisory scenarios.”
They are currently accepting applications for the first testing window of 2026 with the goal of granting scholarships to 4 candidates in their first year. You can learn more at Fiduciarygives.org.
We love to highlight the philanthropy that our Partners are doing outside of SVP and Hayden is a great example that focused giving can have meaningful impact. And even better: SVP Partner Jon Mudder is serving on his founding board, extending the notion that we are all better together.
