Meet Our Newest Members of Staff

The new year has brought some more new faces to the SVPAZ staff. I am pleased to introduce Stephen Calderón and Lori Hansen.

stephenStephen joins us temporarily to assist with SVP operations until we are able to add a permanent member of staff. Stephen comes to SVP with a social service and higher education fundraising background.  Majoring in nonprofit leadership and management at Arizona State University, he is dedicated to serving others. He currently serves on the Big Brother Big Sisters Young Professionals Council, is Field Coordinator for the Outlaw Dirty Money Bipartisan Campaign and works as a freelance paralegal. As an avid SVP supporter and long time volunteer, he is looking forward to contributing what he can to SVPAZ’s mission and operations before heading to law school in the Fall of 2018.

Lori HansenLori Hansen joins the team in the role of Communications Manager. She has more than 10 years’ experience leading corporate communications programs for companies in the manufacturing and government services sectors. Her strengths lie in communications planning and project management, with a track record of implementing successful branding, website, employee communications, social media, and public relations initiatives. Prior to joining SVPAZ, Lori was a senior employee communications specialist at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. Lori and her wife, Tanya, live in Mesa and are enjoying life as new parents to a baby girl.

Terri-WoganWritten by Terri Wogan Calderón, Executive Director and Partner, Social Venture Partners Arizona. Passionate about improving the nonprofit sector and public education in Arizona, Terri has served as Executive Director for Social Venture Partners Arizona for more than 10 years.
