New Year Welcome from SVPAZ Leadership

Jan 23, 2017

Happy 2017, SVPAZ Partners and Friends!

While many things are uncertain in the coming year, there are many certainties in the work of our Partnership with Social Venture Partners Arizona. Our mission to build stronger philanthropists as we strengthen Valley nonprofits deeply impacts our community.

While we may be volunteers, we are vitally important to the health and well-being of Social Venture Partners Arizona and all the nonprofits we touch. Strong and empowered boards are what make an organization successful and it is boards that are informed, diligent, savvy, and transparent that make a good organization, great. It’s our pleasure to introduce you to our 2017 Board:

We hope you take this time to reflect and realize how important you are not only as a Partner of SVPAZ but also to the nonprofits we serve. SVPAZ is fortunate to have a strong board with a competent and forward thinking leadership team. For several months, the board has been crafting strategic goals and supporting objectives. With your support and time, we commit to:

  • Increasing the Partnership numbers,
  • Raising additional capital to support our SVP and build capacity for the nonprofits we invest in,
  • Launch an Impact 500 campaign with our alumni Partners,
  • Continue to expand programming with our Next Generation Partners, and
  • Continually provide opportunities to learn and engage in building a stronger community.

Our success in 2016 was exemplary, but we know with your commitment of time and talent, we can do more. It’s also up to you to have a voice. Have a program idea? Contact Terri. Know of potential new Partners? Ping Sentari. Want to write a blog? Email Meghan. See a gap somewhere, give Patrick a shout. Let’s maximize this Partnership we’ve created, and continue the progress we have made, together.
Cheers to a certain and successful 2017.
