From Kiyomi Beach, SVP Manager at Mission Capital in Austin, TX
“At Mission Capital we are working to support local efforts with nonprofits in the effected counties of Central Texas and organizations serving evacuees to Austin and the surrounding areas. We’ve identified several organizations working tirelessly to provide everything from services to goods to our fellow Texans.

Austin Diaper Bank – austindiapers.org/
Austin Disaster Relief Network – adrn.org/
Austin Humane Society – bit.ly/AHSHurricaneHarvey
Austin Pets Alive! – austinpetsalive.org/
We Are Blood – weareblood.org/donate-blood/
YMCA of Central Texas – ymcaofcentraltexas.org/
We are continuing to engage nonprofits in our community and will be updating our facebook page as new information becomes available. SVPs are interested in learning more about how to support our efforts here, please reach out to Christin Monts (firstname.lastname@example.org), and we can connect you to organizations supporting relief efforts locally.”
From Harriet Helmle, Executive Director at SVP San Antonio
“There are several relief efforts going on right now to help the thousands of families affected by Hurricane Harvey. In addition to the two attached, our local TV station WOAI TV 4 has a phone bank set up to take donations from 6:30 AM this morning until 10:30 PM tonight and the same hours tomorrow. What is special about this phone bank is that local Philanthropist, Harvey Najim, is matching all donations today and tomorrow up to $100K per day. That is a donation of up to $200K going to the much-needed relief efforts along the Texas Coast.
The phone number to call is 210.366.1434
We are so very blessed to live in such a generous country and state. We stand together in the best of times and in the worst of times.
Please feel free to share any other efforts that you might be aware of.”
