SVP Impact: Your Investment at Work – BLOOM365

Feb 6, 2018

When Donna Bartos presented Go Purple (now called BLOOM365) at Fast Pitch in 2012, the organization had a lot of programs, activities and traction, but needed infrastructure and guidance on how to scale their impact.

Donna notes that over the last five years as an SVP Investee, BLOOM365 has been “laser focused [on] our mission, zeroed in on one prevention and intervention strategy, proven our methods have short-term impact, built a promising practice ready for longitudinal research, increased our financial resources and enhanced board governance.” And in just the last three years BLOOM365 has seen exponential growth in the number of teens receiving education and advocacy (from 3,000 in 2015 to a target of 20,000 in 2018) and an increased operating budget from $90,000 in 2015 to $750,000 this year.

Much of this was accomplished with the help of the SVPAZ partnership and with specific guidance from lead partners Carol Clemency and Diane Walker, former partner Seth Anderson and Patrick Armstrong, who has just concluded a three-year term as Board Chair.

While BLOOM365 has concluded its term as an SVPAZ investee, you may still be interested in providing ongoing support to their mission and growth. Learn more about BLOOM365 here:
