Hailey Hershkowitz

Hailey is a middle school English teacher of 9 years turned nonprofit professional, with a wide variety of experiences in schools from rural Ghana to central Phoenix. A Teach for America alum, she’s also worked with many health and education nonprofits across the world. She has dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Global Studies, as well as a master’s in Educational Policy–all from Arizona State University. She is passionate about social justice, culturally responsive educational practices, and the power of storytelling. In her free time she writes books for young adults, chases after her two young daughters, and wonders if she has time to make a pitstop for another cup of coffee.
