Prior to the Banner Health Foundation, Kristie served as Senior Director, Development & Donor Relations at the Arizona Community Foundation. In addition to working with donors and cultivating gifts, Kristie managed ACF’s Kellenberger + Tollefson Center for LGBTQ Philanthropy, including planning educational events and initiatives for individuals and nonprofit organizations throughout Arizona. She also managed ACF’s Professional Advisory Board, where she collaborated with local estate planning attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors to facilitate charitable giving for their clients.
Kristie has spent 20 years in the nonprofit sector with organizations such as Feeding Matters, Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine Council, Southwest Human Development, and Sun Health. She holds a Master of Public Health in Health Administration and Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in political science, both from the University of Arizona, and earned the CAP® (Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy) designation in 2020. She also completed a term as President of the East Valley Estate Planning Council and served on First Things First’s Strategic Planning Initiatives Committee.
Kristie is the proud mom of Evan, 18, and Keira, 15, so she spends most of her free time thinking of excuses to visit her son in Malibu, and watching high school volleyball.
